Relational optimiser based on Pathfinder
(MSc/Diploma thesis)
This project involves development of a relational optimisation framework based on Pathfinder. In particular, core relational optimisations (without XML-related operators) from Pathfinder will be ported as a standalone Haskell library. Subsequently new optimisations will be added and extensible framework will be developed making it possible to declaratively specify new optimisation rules.
